This was a family birthday gift for nephew/grandson and it was a complete effort to assemble:) [...]Recommend unwrapping everything and laying out all the parts - look inside the posts as well - we thought hardware was missing until we found in the poles. Instructions are not great - but we matched up the hardware to the visual specs in the assembly instructions and this did help a great deal as the scale seems off when you look @ the assembly diagram. BIL's dug the hole and got cement poured in to cure in no time. All-in-all, a really great product that my nephew was thrilled to receive and just took a bit of family bonding to assemble.

Shame on Spaulding for those confusing directions. The booklet was awful - contradictory. An experienced person kept shaking his head and cursing at the directions. We needed 440 lbs of quick-crete to set up pole. The pole fit into the ground but was loose so we had to fix that. Once installed after a 3 day process of digging large hole, pouring concrete over two days and then trying desperately to figure out directions, it was worth all the work. Make sure you have 4 strong adults to lift the pole into place after filling pole with concrete. My kids LOVE the net and I really like the quality of the entire unit. I have recommended this to a friend already. Not for amateur installers. End result is excellent and worth the money.
