Spalding Inground 60 Inch Basketball System

The Spalding In Ground 60 Inch Basketball System is built for the most intense practices and competitive games. This in-ground goal system is easy to install, and features high quality materials built to withstand years of play. It's perfect for team practice, tournaments, or just for fun.

Assemble the system easily thanks to the hinged base pad; once you install it, you can lay it flat and put it together at ground-level, then set it up. The main body is made from a durable aluminum frame and a 4-inch  square pole made from 11-gauge steel, finished in a weather-resistant powder coat. Also included is a 60- x 34-inch tempered glass backboard, measuring .25 inches thick for superior rebounds and reinforced by a 1- x 2-inch steel frame. A pro-style aluminum frame protects the edges, and an authentic Arena View Main Court backstop design lets you shoot for the most accuracy. An integrated 60-inch lower board frame reinforcement bar adds extra stability.

The frame of this goal wraps around the backboard and has a four-cornered Z-arm mount, which provides superior strength even during the hardest of slam dunks. And speaking of slams, the high quality Pro-Image breakaway flex rim is supported by steel and comes complete with an all-weather nylon net.

This system is adjustable; change the height of the playing surface from 7.5 to 10 feet using the easy-to-operate crank system built into the pole. Remove the crank handle when you've got it set to prevent tampering. An interior safety stop prevents the backboard from being lowered below 6 feet 6 inches.

All elements of this goal system are constructed using welded gussets and anchor bolts for the utmost security and safety; plastic bushings are included with all hardware to prevent metal-on-metal contact that can lead to rusting. In-ground installation requires cement (not included).
