Spalding 60 Inch Acrylic Portable Basketball Hoop System

Great for driveways, playgrounds, or gymnasiums, the Spalding 60 Inch Acrylic Portable Basketball Hoop System is built all-weather strong and tough enough for the most intense play. This goal system is mounted on a heavy duty base with a 40-gallon capacity. No cement is required for installation, and it's totally portable: just empty the base to move, and fill it with sand or water when in place to keep it secure and stable during play.

Fitted with a 60-inch wide acrylic backboard complete with steel frame, this goal system offers the same look and feel as pro glass backboards. Rebounds are sharp and fast from the surface, and a wrap-around support arm provides extra strength. The backboard is mounted on a three-piece, 3.5-inch diameter round steel pole, which has an easy-to-use Screw Jack adjustment system. Adjust the playing height infinitely between 7.5 to 10 feet to suit players of all sizes and levels. The front cover of the pole provides protection for players and also assists in rebounding the ball.

Also included with this goal is an Arena Slam breakaway-style rim, which is built to stand up to slam dunks and hardcore free throws. The rim has an institutional-style wrap and is supported by steel braces. Double-compression springs allow it to flex under pressure, relieving stress on the backboard and helping prevent injury.
