We got this for my son's 7th birthday. He has mounted it on the inside of one of the door frames in our garage. It is excellent for this age range and has provided hours of fun.

I love the hoop it is actually like a real basketball hoop the rim is metal with a spring for dunking i would say. The only problem i have with it is that it is to loud i would say to buy a different ball lighter and also ball does not come pumped
