This product is of excellent quality. I was visiting a university and I saw the college kids using it in the pool. So I did some research and concluded this was one of the best hoops. A bit pricey for sure, but it's made of very good quality materials. Assembly is not easy, but not overly complex either. Everyone enjoys using it from my 12 year old to my 19 year old - and it's also great for younger kids. It can withstand the weight of an adult hanging on the rim. It weighs nearly 500 pounds when filled with water.
I would highly recommend this product. I know you can spend less but I think you will compromise on quality.

This bball hoop is a hit. It seems durable and weather ready. It was a bit difficult to put together. Need 2 people for end steps to properly secure rim on base unit. That means it is a bit heavy which is a good thing if you plan on dunking the ball.

Excellent pool basketball setup because the height of the rim is adjustable for 3rd grade to adults. Only suggestion would be to have a collapsable rim versus the collapsable backboard.

I have had this product for about a month and love it. My son (who is a collegiate baller) continues his practice sessions in the swimming pool. It is durable and is of great quality. A bit challenging putting together but it came with very detailed instructions.
