The backboard has a pro-style look and surface, and is made from durable acrylic complete with a steel frame for the ultimate in strength. It's fitted with an Arena Slam break-away rim, which is built to stand up to the most emphatic slam dunks: spring action means it bounces back into place and relieves stress on the backboard. The rim is also wrapped institutional-style and held in place with steel support braces. It comes complete with a white all-weather nylon net branded with the NBA logo, too. Backboard measures 54W x 33H inches; total weight approximately 49 pounds.
